About Tasman Football Club

As an Aussie-rules football club, Tasman Football Club (TFC) has teams in all grades of the Port Lincoln Football League, including Auskick and the women’s summer competition. Our home ground is Ravendale Oval, with our club rooms upstairs in the Ravendale Sporting Complex, all at 40 Stamford Terrace, Port Lincoln. We are always ready to welcome new members, players, volunteers and sponsors – see the Our People page to contact us

TFC was formed in 1946 and was one of only three teams in the Port Lincoln Football League at that time, as it reformed after WWII. Jim Kennedy was the inaugural President and for the first year the team colours were yellow with a black V. In 1947 the colours were changed to the red and white we are familiar with today

There have been several uniform changes over the years, and a few name variations, but today Tasman Football Club is proud of our rich history as one of the most successful clubs in PLFL. As part of Tasman Imperial Sporting Club Inc, we are working hard to continue our success, on-field and off.

TFC acknowledges and thanks the many volunteers over the years, who have worked hard to keep the club running and put teams on the field. We also gratefully acknowledge our sponsors, without whom community sport cannot exist.
